Addributes and Restrict / Disable Gift Cards both operate within the 'Checkout - Other' category on Shopify, but cater to vastly different merchant needs. Addributes, with a 5/5 rating based on 28 reviews, likely focuses on a broader set of checkout enhancements, potentially related to adding custom attributes or features to the checkout process. Restrict / Disable Gift Cards, also boasting a 5/5 rating but from only 1 review, is laser-focused on managing gift card usage at checkout, specifically in conjunction with discounts and location-based restrictions. Restrict / Disable Gift Cards directly addresses issues related to fair order policies and potential revenue loss from stacking discounts with gift cards. For merchants primarily focused on optimizing their checkout flow with custom attributes and data collection, Addributes is likely the better choice.
