Advanced Predictive Search vs Recomatic Related Productsfor Shopify (2026)
Advanced Predictive Search and Recomatic Related Products both aim to improve the customer shopping experience on Shopify stores by enhancing search and navigation. However, they address different aspects of this experience. Advanced Predictive Search focuses on improving the search functionality itself, providing faster and more relevant results as users type. Its strength lies in its speed and simplicity. On the other hand, Recomatic Related Products concentrates on cross-selling and upselling by displaying related products, aiming to increase conversions and average order value. Its key advantage is its data-driven approach to product recommendations and extensive customization options. While both apps fall under the 'Search and navigation' category, their target audiences differ. Advanced Predictive Search is suited for stores with a large inventory where efficient search is crucial. Recomatic Related Products is ideal for stores looking to boost sales through product recommendations and personalized shopping experiences, particularly those that want to replace or augment basic theme-provided related product functionality. The significant difference in the number of reviews suggests a wider user base and potentially more established track record for Recomatic Related Products, while Advanced Predictive Search may be a newer entrant to the market.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to enhance the on-site search experience and enable customers to find products quickly, Advanced Predictive Search is a promising option, particularly for stores with large inventories. However, the low review count should be considered.
Recomatic Related Products is the better choice for merchants primarily focused on increasing sales through strategic product recommendations. Its data-driven approach, customization options, and significantly larger user base (reflected in the higher review count) provide a more robust and proven solution for boosting conversions and average order value, making it a more reliable choice for established stores with a focus on upselling and cross-selling.
