Our Verdict
The choice between Afterpay On‑Site Messaging and Clearpay On‑Site Messaging primarily depends on which BNPL service the merchant utilizes and wants to promote. Functionally, the apps appear identical. However, given the higher rating of 3.6/5, albeit based on a smaller sample size, Clearpay On‑Site Messaging might be the preferred choice, assuming the merchant offers Clearpay. Merchants already heavily invested in Afterpay and willing to overlook the lower rating could still find Afterpay On‑Site Messaging a worthwhile option. Checking the reviews for any recent bug reports or stability issues before installation is highly recommended for both apps.
