AfterShip Email Marketing,SMS vs BIK Instagram, Whatsapp, Emailfor Shopify (2026)
AfterShip Email Marketing, SMS and BIK Instagram, Whatsapp, Email are both marketing platforms designed to enhance customer engagement and drive sales for Shopify merchants. AfterShip positions itself as an all-in-one, user-friendly marketing platform focused on email and SMS marketing augmented with AI-powered features and a built-in CRM. It seems to target merchants seeking a comprehensive suite of marketing tools manageable from a single, no-code platform. BIK, on the other hand, emphasizes conversational commerce through platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram, offering a dedicated growth strategy manager. BIK focuses on leveraging 2-way communication through channels like Instagram and WhatsApp, which is reflected in its features like Instagram AI comment-to-DM and advanced chatbots. The smaller number of reviews suggests it may be a newer app, or cater to a more niche market. AfterShip boasts a much larger user base, indicating broader appeal or a longer market presence, and emphasizes ease of use with pre-built templates and minimal technical expertise needed. Choosing between the two depends on the merchant's specific marketing strategy: a wider marketing net with an all-in-one approach, or deeper customer relationships with a narrower channel selection and more personalized assistance.
