AgeChecked vs Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helperfor Shopify (2026)
AgeChecked and Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper are Shopify apps that, based on the limited information provided, cater to very different needs within store operations. AgeChecked focuses on age verification, offering a solution for merchants selling age-restricted products, emphasizing compliance and frictionless checkout through a post-purchase verification process. It claims to meet stringent UK, EU, and card network requirements without storing sensitive customer data. Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper, on the other hand, has a substantially better rating and 34 reviews compared to AgeChecked, but its functionality is unknown beyond being categorized as “Operations - Other”. Without more information on what Draftable does, we can only say its users are happy with its function. Given the stark contrast in ratings and reviews, it's evident that Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper currently enjoys significant user satisfaction. However, its broader purpose needs clarification before a direct comparison of functionality can be achieved. AgeChecked targets a niche market where age verification is crucial, prioritizing legal compliance and minimizing checkout abandonment. If its claims of frictionless integration and regulatory adherence are accurate, it addresses a critical need for merchants selling age-restricted products, despite its current lack of user reviews.

Our Verdict
At this point, a straightforward recommendation is challenging due to the limited information about Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper's functionality. If you sell age-restricted products, AgeChecked is potentially invaluable if its claims regarding compliance and frictionless checkout hold true, *despite* the absence of reviews. You should investigate if the features described on their listing match your store's requirements and consider a trial period if possible.
However, given the extremely poor rating and lack of reviews for AgeChecked, merchants should proceed with extreme caution and look at alternative age verification apps first, if available. Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper, with its perfect rating and significant number of reviews, is likely a valuable tool, but its relevance to your store hinges on understanding its function in helping with draft orders.
