Our Verdict
Given the available data, KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight appears to be the more reliable choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its high rating, positive reviews, and focus on improving navigation through visually appealing menus make it a strong contender for stores looking to enhance product discoverability and conversion rates. It's especially well-suited for businesses that prioritize mobile user experience.
AI Chatbot Search, with its extremely low rating and single review, is a risky choice. While the concept of AI-powered search enhancement is appealing, the app's current state raises serious concerns about its functionality and user satisfaction. Only merchants who are willing to take a significant gamble and potentially face troubleshooting challenges should consider this app, and even then, a thorough investigation of the underlying issues is warranted before investing time or resources.
