Our Verdict
ExpressText Connect is the safer bet for most merchants in 2026, given its strong rating and existing user base indicating reliability and effectiveness. Its focus on targeted SMS marketing provides a solid foundation for customer engagement and sales. However, merchants specifically struggling with high cart abandonment rates and willing to experiment with new technologies might find AI Email Marketing Automation a worthwhile venture. The AI-powered voice calls offer a potentially innovative approach to recovering lost sales, although the lack of reviews presents a significant risk.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific needs and risk tolerance. If a merchant needs a proven SMS marketing solution with strong support, ExpressText Connect is the clear winner. If the merchant is willing to take a chance on a new, potentially disruptive technology and needs to address cart abandonment urgently, AI Email Marketing Automation could be considered, but with caution and thorough testing.
