Airwallex Fraud Protection vs Ongoing Disable Right Clickfor Shopify (2026)
Airwallex Fraud Protection and Ongoing Disable Right Click, while both categorized under 'Fraud' in the Shopify app store, address fundamentally different aspects of security for online stores. Airwallex focuses on preventing fraudulent transactions using an AI-powered engine, promising real-time fraud decisions and increased payment success rates. This app positions itself as a robust security solution for merchants processing a high volume of transactions and needing advanced fraud detection capabilities. It emphasizes compliance with security standards like PCI DSS, SOC 1, and SOC 2. Ongoing Disable Right Click, conversely, takes a simpler approach by preventing users from right-clicking on a store's content. This aims to protect visual assets and text from easy copying. It targets merchants primarily concerned with content protection and preventing basic forms of theft. While it has a perfect rating based on a small number of reviews, it's important to note that its scope is much narrower compared to Airwallex's comprehensive fraud protection system. Ongoing Disable Right Click does not attempt to analyze transactions for fraud. Given the extremely limited information available for both apps, drawing firm conclusions is challenging. The primary difference lies in their target audience. Airwallex serves businesses handling significant transaction volumes and needing AI-powered fraud detection, while Ongoing Disable Right Click caters to merchants prioritizing basic content protection against right-click copying.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with preventing fraudulent transactions and dealing with significant transaction volumes, Airwallex Fraud Protection, despite its limited reviews, is the more relevant solution. Its AI-powered engine and focus on payment security offer a proactive approach to fraud prevention. However, the low number of reviews should prompt careful consideration and potentially seeking additional information before committing.
Ongoing Disable Right Click is a very different tool. If a merchant's main concern is protecting their website content from easy copying via right-clicking, then it might be a suitable, albeit limited, solution. However, it's important to remember that this offers minimal security against determined content thieves and does nothing to address transaction fraud. Therefore, these apps do not serve the same functionality. More information is needed regarding Airwallex, however, since it only has two reviews at the time of writing.
