Our Verdict
Based on the limited data available, Categories Uncomplicated appears to be the safer choice for most merchants in 2026, simply because it has a proven track record with a 5-star rating and 36 reviews. Ajaxy Live Search, while promising interesting features, has no user feedback available. If a merchant has a particularly large or complex inventory and needs to clearly organize products into categories and subcategories, Categories Uncomplicated is the better option. If, however, a merchant wants to focus specifically on search bar functionality and provide a faster, more predictive search experience, they might consider testing Ajaxy Live Search, but should proceed with caution due to the lack of reviews.
