Our Verdict
Given the current data, Magical XML/HTML Sitemap appears to be the more reliable and established option due to its positive user reviews and clear focus on improving SEO and site navigation. It's a solid choice for merchants who want to enhance their site's discoverability and user experience through better site structure and search engine optimization. Ajaxy Live Search, while promising, lacks user feedback, making it a riskier choice at this time.
However, if a merchant is specifically struggling with poor on-site search functionality and wants a visually appealing, predictive search bar, Ajaxy Live Search *could* be a viable option, assuming they are comfortable being early adopters and potentially encountering unforeseen issues. Merchants who prioritize a solid base level of search visibility and SEO best practice should start with Magical XML/HTML Sitemap.
