AliExpress Reviews Importer vs Rocket Google Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
AliExpress Reviews Importer and Rocket Google Reviews, while both boasting perfect 5/5 ratings, cater to vastly different Shopify merchant needs in 2026. AliExpress Reviews Importer focuses specifically on sourcing reviews from AliExpress. Its strength lies in quickly importing text and image reviews from AliExpress products and exporting them to CSV for further manipulation and integration with other product review apps. The target audience is clearly merchants dropshipping or reselling products directly from AliExpress who want to bootstrap their initial social proof. Rocket Google Reviews is not described in detail in your dataset, but the name suggests a focus on Google reviews. The key difference lies in the source of the reviews: AliExpress versus Google. AliExpress Reviews Importer streamlines the process of taking reviews from a specific marketplace and transferring them, while Rocket Google Reviews (presumably) handles reviews left on Google's platform for the business. Rocket Google Reviews likely targets a broader audience of businesses aiming to leverage their existing Google reviews to boost credibility and sales on their Shopify store. The substantial difference in the number of reviews (1 versus 232) suggests that Rocket Google Reviews has either been around much longer or has a more popular and widely adopted functionality. The ease of use for AliExpress Reviews Importer may be initially appealing for those quickly importing reviews, while Rocket Google Reviews strength will probably lie in the fact that those reviews are for your actual shop. Ultimately, the choice depends on where a merchant's reviews are currently located and the merchant's business model.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily sourcing products from AliExpress and needing a quick and dirty way to populate their Shopify store with initial reviews, AliExpress Reviews Importer can be a viable solution, especially for rapidly creating a product page for a new product. However, the extremely low number of reviews suggests it's either brand new or not widely adopted, which is a risk. Rocket Google Reviews, given its significantly higher review count and probable focus on genuine customer reviews from Google, is likely the better long-term solution for businesses looking to build genuine trust and credibility. If your business has an existing Google Business Profile with a decent number of positive reviews, Rocket Google Reviews is the clear winner.
