Our Verdict
For merchants with a large product catalog and a history of sales data, Also Bought CBB offers a powerful, AI-driven solution to suggest relevant products to customers. Its sophisticated recommendation engine can uncover hidden product relationships and boost sales through cross-selling. However, the initial setup might require some data analysis to optimize recommendations.
If the main goal is to increase the Average Order Value (AOV) and incentivise immediate spending, Essential Free Shipping Upsell is the better option. Its free shipping progress bar provides a clear incentive and encourages customers to add more items to their cart. This approach is particularly effective for stores offering relatively low-priced items or where customers often make small purchases. The easy setup and pre-made styles make it a quick win for AOV improvements.
