Our Verdict
For merchants primarily interested in implementing the classic 'customers who bought this also bought' recommendation strategy and seeking a simple, reliable, and highly customizable solution, Also Bought CBB is the superior choice. Its mature AI and focus on product discoverability make it ideal for boosting sales through targeted recommendations. However, for merchants who require a broader set of tools to implement volume discounts, tiered pricing, bundles, and other promotional strategies in addition to cross-selling, Zoorix: Bundles & Cross Sell offers a more comprehensive solution. It caters to merchants looking for a multifaceted approach to increasing AOV and driving sales.
Common Questions
Which app has the better AI for product recommendations?
Also Bought CBB claims its AI has been extensively trained on vast datasets of merchants' products and order history for many years, suggesting a more mature and refined algorithm for 'also bought' recommendations specifically. Zoorix uses AI for cross-selling but doesn't provide the same level of detail about the AI training process.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Both apps claim fast or one-click installation and theme compatibility. However, Also Bought CBB explicitly highlights its one-click install and out-of-the-box style integration with popular themes, suggesting potentially greater ease of use for users with limited technical expertise.
Which app offers more features beyond cross-selling?
Zoorix clearly offers a wider range of features, including volume discounts, tiered pricing, bundle creation, and BOGO offers, whereas Also Bought CBB focuses primarily on product recommendations. If those features are important, Zoorix is the clear winner.
Which app is better for handling high traffic during peak seasons like BFCM?
Also Bought CBB specifically mentions 'High Availability even with BFCM traffic peaks,' suggesting it's designed to handle large volumes of traffic without performance issues. Zoorix doesn't explicitly mention BFCM readiness.
Which app is more suitable for stores selling products where quantity discounts are common?
Zoorix is undoubtedly the better option. Its core features include volume discounts, quantity breaks, and tiered pricing, which are essential for businesses that commonly offer discounts based on the quantity purchased.
