Our Verdict
The choice between ALTTextify and Describerry depends heavily on the merchant's specific needs. For stores with a large multilingual customer base and a need for precise control over how alt text is generated, ALTTextify might be a better fit, assuming their claims hold true. However, given its zero rating and lack of reviews, caution is warranted. Describerry, despite having only two reviews, has a perfect rating and emphasizes accuracy and brand consistency. This would likely appeal to merchants who value quality and are willing to pay a premium for a well-executed AI solution that integrates deeply with their brand voice. If a merchant prioritizes a solution that covers all images (beyond product images) and emphasizes brand alignment, Describerry is probably the better choice, assuming they are comfortable trusting an AI-assisted approach without extensive manual control.
