AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer vs easyPointsfor Shopify (2026)
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer and easyPoints both aim to boost sales, but they approach it from different angles. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer focuses on improving the shopping experience by offering an optimized cart drawer, leading to potentially higher conversion rates during the checkout process. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest a proven track record for customer satisfaction. easyPoints, on the other hand, centers around building customer loyalty and repeat purchases through a comprehensive rewards program. It emphasizes integration with the store's design for a seamless brand experience. While both fall under the 'Upsell and Cross-sell' category on Shopify, their target audiences differ. AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is more universally applicable, catering to stores seeking a general improvement in their checkout flow. easyPoints, with its loyalty program features like points for various actions, VIP tiers, and POS integration, is geared toward businesses prioritizing long-term customer relationships and repeat business. The difference in the number of reviews suggests a more established user base for AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer, while easyPoints is possibly a newer app, or one focused on a niche market.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a quick and universally applicable improvement to their checkout process, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is likely the better choice, given its high rating and substantial user base. The promise of an optimized cart drawer translates to potentially immediate gains in conversion rates. However, for businesses prioritizing long-term customer loyalty, repeat purchases, and a branded rewards experience, easyPoints presents a more compelling solution, especially considering its focus on store design integration, POS support, and tiered reward systems. The 'pay for features you need' approach makes it potentially more cost-effective for smaller businesses initially.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's primary objective. If the goal is immediate conversion rate optimization, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer is the stronger contender. If the focus is building a lasting customer base and increasing customer lifetime value, easyPoints is the more strategically aligned option.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to implement?
While neither app explicitly states ease of implementation, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer, focusing on a single feature (cart drawer), is likely simpler to set up compared to easyPoints, which requires configuring a complete loyalty program.
Which app is better for a small business?
It depends on the small business's goals. If the business is just starting and needs a quick conversion boost, AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer could be better. If the business has a loyal customer base and wants to retain them, easyPoints could be more beneficial, especially with its pay-for-features model allowing controlled costs.
How does each app contribute to upselling/cross-selling?
AMP ‑ Slide Cart Drawer contributes indirectly by presenting a more user-friendly cart, potentially leading to customers adding more items. easyPoints does it directly by incentivizing further purchases through rewards and VIP tiers.
Does easyPoints work for brick-and-mortar stores?
Yes, easyPoints has a Shopify POS extension, enabling the rewards program to be used both online and offline.
How can I tell which app is actually better for my store?
Ideally, both apps should offer a trial period. Testing each app with your store's specific traffic and customer behavior is the best way to determine which yields better results.
