Our Verdict
The choice between Amphora | Pick, Pack and Ship and Progus Store Locator Map depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a merchant is struggling with logistics, wants to outsource this function, and requires fulfillment capabilities in Spain, Italy, the UK, or the US, then Amphora is the more relevant solution. However, given its lack of reviews, it should be approached with caution.
On the other hand, if a merchant has physical store locations and wants to make it easier for customers to find them, thereby driving in-store sales and potentially reducing customer service inquiries related to store locations, Progus Store Locator Map is the superior choice. The high rating and significant number of reviews suggest a reliable and user-friendly app.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Progus Store Locator Map is likely easier to set up due to its 'No API KEY required' feature and quick installation claim, indicating a streamlined onboarding process. Amphora's logistics-focused nature suggests a potentially more complex setup process.
Which app is better for a purely online store?
Neither app is ideal for a purely online store. Progus Store Locator Map is irrelevant without physical locations. Amphora's logistics services could be useful, but likely adds overhead and isn't optimized if no in-person selling occurs.
Which app offers analytics?
Both apps offer analytics. Amphora includes "Atenea, our proprietary suite that monitors inventory, optimizes order preparation, and tracks transportation in real time". Progus offers "Advanced analytics" specifically related to customer search behavior for physical locations.
Which app is more scalable for a growing business?
Amphora aims at scalability for logistics because their key feature is to "optimize your costs and scale without limits". Progus could indirectly enable scaling via increased in-store sales, but it isn't a core function.
Which app has better customer reviews?
Progus Store Locator Map has significantly better customer reviews, boasting a 5/5 rating with 58 reviews, whereas Amphora | Pick, Pack and Ship has no reviews (0/5).
