Our Verdict
Reputon eBay Importer appears to be the stronger choice based on user reviews and features. Its high rating and positive reviews (37) indicate user satisfaction, particularly with the auto-sync capabilities, which are crucial for dropshipping and affiliate marketing. AmSync, lacking any reviews, presents a riskier option, despite its claims of a user-friendly interface and reliable support. For merchants already established on Amazon looking for basic listing management on Shopify, AmSync *might* be suitable if they are willing to take a chance on an unproven app. However, for most other Shopify merchants, especially those in dropshipping, Reputon eBay Importer is the clear winner due to its positive user feedback and automatic synchronization features.
Common Questions
Which app is better for dropshipping?
Reputon eBay Importer is the better choice for dropshipping due to its price and stock auto-sync feature, which is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory and pricing in a dropshipping environment.
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
While AmSync claims to have a user-friendly interface, the lack of reviews makes it difficult to verify. Reputon eBay Importer's popularity and positive reviews suggest it's likely user-friendly as well, making it the safer option for beginners.
Can I import product images with both apps?
Reputon eBay Importer explicitly states that it imports eBay products with photos. AmSync doesn't explicitly mention importing product images, but it does state it imports product details, descriptions, and images. However, without reviews it's hard to confirm its functionality.
Which app is more reliable?
Reputon eBay Importer, with its 5/5 rating and 37 reviews, is likely more reliable than AmSync, which has no rating or reviews.
Which app is suitable if I already sell on Amazon?
AmSync is designed for merchants who already sell on Amazon and want to manage their listings on Shopify. However, given the lack of reviews, proceed with caution and consider alternatives if possible.
