AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs Kaching Post Purchase Upsellfor Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and Kaching Post Purchase Upsell both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV) for Shopify merchants through upsell and cross-sell techniques, but they approach this goal from different angles. AOV Bundles focuses on pre-purchase strategies, encouraging customers to add more items to their cart through bundles, volume discounts, and 'Frequently Bought Together' suggestions. Its AI-powered recommendations and diverse bundle options aim to create a seamless and natural shopping experience. Kaching Post Purchase Upsell, on the other hand, concentrates on post-purchase offers, presenting customers with one-click upsells immediately after checkout to capitalize on their already confirmed buying intent. This minimizes friction and maximizes the likelihood of an additional purchase. AOV Bundles is geared toward merchants seeking a comprehensive solution for increasing AOV through various bundle types and quantity discounts integrated directly into the shopping experience. It emphasizes customization and brand alignment with a fully customizable widget. Kaching Post Purchase Upsell is more suitable for merchants who prioritize simplicity and speed in implementing post-purchase upsells with minimal coding required. It excels in capturing immediate buyer enthusiasm to generate incremental revenue. The choice depends heavily on whether a merchant prefers to influence the cart *before* checkout or capitalize on a completed purchase *after* checkout.

Our Verdict
For merchants who want to actively shape the contents of customer carts *before* they reach checkout with a variety of bundling options and quantity breaks, AOV Bundles Volume Discounts is the superior choice. Its AI recommendations, wide range of bundle options and high rating/review count suggests a robust and effective solution. It is especially well-suited for stores with a diverse product catalog.
Conversely, if a merchant wants a quick and easy way to capitalize on completed purchases with a frictionless one-click upsell after checkout, Kaching Post Purchase Upsell is the more appropriate option. It's especially advantageous for merchants who want a quick implementation or who believe customers are more receptive to offers *after* they've already committed to a purchase. While it has fewer reviews, its near-perfect rating indicates high customer satisfaction within its specific niche.
