AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs OnYou ‑ AI Virtual Try onfor Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and OnYou - AI Virtual Try On both aim to enhance the customer shopping experience on Shopify, but target vastly different needs and product types. AOV Bundles focuses on increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through strategic bundling and volume discounts, catering to merchants selling various products where bulk purchases are feasible and desirable. Its strength lies in providing flexible bundling options, AI-driven recommendations, and easy customization, making it accessible to merchants of all technical levels. In contrast, OnYou - AI Virtual Try On addresses the specific needs of fashion brands by offering virtual try-on capabilities. It provides a personalized shopping experience by allowing customers to virtually "try on" clothes, thus reducing returns and enhancing conversion rates, a critical concern in the fashion industry. The key difference lies in the product offering. AOV Bundles is applicable across a wider range of product categories where offering bundles and discounts incentivizes larger purchases. It aims to optimize order value through quantity and product combinations. OnYou, however, is highly specialized for the fashion industry, solving the specific problem of visualizing apparel on customers before purchase. While both utilize AI, AOV Bundles uses it for recommendation, while OnYou uses it for creating realistic virtual try-ons and suggesting sizes. The rating of both apps are 5/5, but OnYou has significantly less reviews, making AOV Bundles Volume Discounts more credible to use. It is also important to consider the risk assessment given that we are in 2026, 2 years out. It is possible that OnYou will have more reviews and features by that time, but right now, AOV Bundles Volume Discounts would be a safer pick. However, if a company is in the fashion business, it might be worth it to take that risk.
