AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs Post Purchase Upsell—ReSellfor Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and Post Purchase Upsell—ReSell both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV) on Shopify stores via upselling and cross-selling techniques, but they approach this goal from different angles. AOV Bundles focuses on pre-purchase bundling and volume discounts, offering various bundle types (fixed, mix-and-match, build-your-own) and smart quantity breaks designed to incentivize larger purchases before checkout. It emphasizes a seamless, native brand experience with customizable widgets and AI-powered recommendations to optimize bundle offerings. Post Purchase Upsell—ReSell, on the other hand, concentrates on maximizing revenue *after* the initial purchase decision. It leverages one-click upsells and cross-sells during checkout and on the thank you page. This app prioritizes automated upsell campaigns and product recommendations to capture additional sales with minimal customer effort. It boasts features like thank you page promotions and multi-product downsell capabilities. While both apps offer frequently bought together suggestions, AOV Bundles seems more focused on larger, customizable bundle creation, while Post Purchase Upsell leans towards simpler, post-purchase add-ons.
