AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs Smind Section: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and Smind Section: Theme Sections both aim to improve the shopping experience and increase sales, but they approach this goal from very different angles. AOV Bundles focuses specifically on boosting Average Order Value (AOV) through strategic product bundling and volume discounts. It positions itself as an easy-to-use solution that requires no coding, relying on AI-powered recommendations and customizable widgets to encourage larger purchases. Its strength lies in its targeted approach to bundling and volume discounting, making it ideal for merchants seeking a direct and effective AOV boost. Smind Section, on the other hand, takes a broader approach, offering a library of theme sections and templates to enhance the overall design and functionality of a Shopify store. It empowers merchants to customize their store's appearance and layout without the need for designers or developers, allowing for greater creative control over the entire shopping experience. The primary distinction lies in their focus. AOV Bundles is a specialized app concentrating on increasing AOV with specific bundling and discount features. Smind Section offers a more general solution for customizing store design and functionality, with a wider scope of application. AOV Bundles aims to increase cart size directly, while Smind Section enhances store appearance and user experience, which can indirectly lead to sales increases. The 'Upsell and cross-sell' category listing is accurate for AOV Bundles due to its Frequently Bought Together offers. For Smind Section, it's less direct; better site design might improve conversions, which is arguably a form of 'upselling' the store itself. Both apps claim ease of use, but AOV Bundles highlights its AI recommendations, while Smind Section showcases its theme editor integration.
