AOV Bundles Volume Discounts vs Sternify ‑ Bundles & Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
AOV Bundles Volume Discounts and Sternify ‑ Bundles & Sections both aim to increase Average Order Value (AOV) on Shopify stores, but they take fundamentally different approaches. AOV Bundles Volume Discounts is laser-focused on bundling and volume discounts. It emphasizes AI-powered recommendations and customizable bundle creation, offering a comprehensive suite of features dedicated to optimizing these strategies. The app targets merchants looking to implement sophisticated bundling tactics to drive sales. Sternify, on the other hand, positions itself as a theme extension tool, offering broader functionality including sections, social proof elements, banners, and more, alongside bundling capabilities. The core difference lies in specialization versus breadth. AOV Bundles is a specialist, dedicating its resources entirely to bundling and volume discounts. Its AI-powered suggestions and 24/7 support suggest a more involved and potentially complex setup. Sternify takes a generalist approach, providing a wider array of tools to enhance the overall storefront experience. Sternify's emphasis on theme integration and new sections every week appeals to merchants seeking increased design flexibility and a wider range of storefront enhancements beyond simply bundling, even if the bundling functionality might not be as advanced as AOV Bundles.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary goal is to implement sophisticated bundling strategies with AI assistance and dedicated support, AOV Bundles Volume Discounts is the superior choice. Its specialized features and higher review count suggest a more robust and mature solution for maximizing AOV through bundling.
However, if a merchant is looking for a broader suite of tools to enhance their storefront's design, add social proof elements, and experiment with various CRO tactics *alongside* basic bundling capabilities, Sternify ‑ Bundles & Sections is a more suitable option. It offers a more flexible approach to overall storefront enhancement but may lack the advanced, dedicated bundling features found in AOV Bundles.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for beginners?

Which app is better for complex product variations?
AOV Bundles' support for mix-and-match and build-your-own bundles suggests better capabilities for handling complex product variations within bundles, whereas Sternify's description doesn't explicitly focus on this aspect of bundling.
If I want to display customer reviews directly in my store, which app should I choose?
Sternify ‑ Bundles & Sections offers "Socialproof Sections with reviews and testimonials", so it is the better choice of the two apps for displaying customer reviews directly on your store.
