Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a quick and easy way to increase AOV through free gift promotions and BOGO deals, AppHero: Free Gift Upsell BOGO is a suitable choice. Its focus on customizable conditions and product page banners allows for targeted campaigns. However, given the very limited number of reviews, merchants should proceed with caution and thoroughly test the app. On the other hand, Skio Subscriptions (YC S20) is the clear winner for businesses looking to build and manage a robust subscription program. Its feature set, including a no-code customer portal and automated journeys, caters specifically to optimizing subscription LTV and reducing churn. The large number of positive reviews further strengthens Skio's position in the subscription space.
