Appify: Survey Honey vs easy Google Customer Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
Appify: Survey Honey and easy Google Customer Reviews, while both categorized under 'Surveys' on Shopify, serve distinctly different purposes. Survey Honey positions itself as a general-purpose survey builder, designed to collect diverse customer feedback directly on the Shopify store using various question types. Its target audience is merchants actively seeking detailed insights, market research data, or lead generation through custom surveys. Easy Google Customer Reviews, on the other hand, focuses specifically on integrating with Google's Customer Reviews program. It's designed to help merchants collect verified reviews and display Google's trust badges, ultimately aimed at boosting credibility and purchase confidence. The primary difference lies in their scope: Survey Honey offers comprehensive, customizable survey creation, while easy Google Customer Reviews streamlines the integration of a specific, standardized review program. Survey Honey emphasizes flexibility and data analysis within the store's ecosystem. Conversely, easy Google Customer Reviews leverages the reputation and visibility of Google to build trust and improve conversion rates. The choice between the two depends heavily on whether a merchant needs a wide array of survey functionalities or simply wants to efficiently implement Google's review system.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking extensive customization options for building various types of surveys and analyzing the data within their Shopify store, Appify: Survey Honey seems like it *could* be a powerful tool, assuming it delivers on its promised features. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating should raise serious caution. Merchants needing a wide variety of highly customizable surveys should probably look for a better-reviewed app in the Shopify store.
On the other hand, easy Google Customer Reviews is the obvious choice for merchants who specifically want to integrate the Google Customer Reviews program into their Shopify store quickly and without coding. Its high rating and positive reviews suggest it reliably delivers on this promise. The low barrier to entry makes it a simple way to leverage Google's reputation to build customer trust and potentially improve conversion rates. Because of the lack of any reviews for Appify, it is not reasonable to recommend.
