Our Verdict
Appmax Antifraude is suited for merchants who prioritize security and need a comprehensive solution to manage payments and prevent fraud, especially those with subscription-based businesses or handling potentially risky transactions. The lower rating and few reviews suggest caution and further investigation may be warranted. SeQura On-Site Messaging is ideal for merchants already using or planning to use seQura payment solutions and want a simple way to promote these options to their customers to improve conversion rates. Given the high rating, it's likely a user-friendly option for maximizing the benefits of seQura payments.
While both apps are in the 'Payments' category, their functionalities are distinct. Merchants should choose based on their specific needs: fraud prevention and payment management (Appmax) or promoting a specific payment method (seQura). The reviews suggest that seQura is a better option in the current state because Appmax needs significantly more reviews to prove the value they claim.
