Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with fraudulent transactions and high chargeback rates, Appmax Antifraude offers a comprehensive solution, despite its lower rating and limited reviews. Its AI-driven fraud protection, subscription management, and financial dashboard provide valuable tools for managing payments and mitigating risks.
However, for stores seeking a quick and easy way to improve their storefront's appearance and highlight payment options, Tence Add-Ons is the better choice. Its high rating, non-invasive theme integration, and collection of helpful storefront features make it ideal for merchants who prioritize user experience and visual appeal. Given the large difference in functionality and focus, these apps serve very different needs and use cases, suggesting they're unlikely to be in direct competition for most Shopify merchants.
