Our Verdict
If a Shopify merchant sells custom-designed products and struggles with managing feedback and revisions, ApprovePro ‑ Design Approvals is the clear choice. Its focus on streamlining the design approval process, coupled with features like file uploads and a designer portal, directly addresses the pain points of custom design workflows. However, if the merchant heavily relies on PayPal for payments and frequently experiences holds or disputes, Proveway PayPal Tracking Sync is essential. Its ability to automatically sync tracking information significantly reduces the risk of PayPal-related issues and can unlock seller protections, ultimately saving time and money. Merchants could potentially benefit from using *both* apps if their business experiences both of these problems; they solve totally unrelated issues.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, Proveway likely offers a simpler setup process due to its focus on automatic syncing with PayPal. ApprovePro, with its designer portal and feedback mechanisms, probably requires more initial configuration to align with specific design workflows.
Which app provides a better ROI?
It depends on the merchant's challenges. If the merchant loses significant time and money due to design revisions, ApprovePro could provide a better ROI. However, if PayPal holds are a recurring issue, Proveway will likely demonstrate a more immediate and quantifiable return.
Can ApprovePro integrate with PayPal to streamline invoicing?
The provided description of ApprovePro doesn't mention direct PayPal integration for invoicing. Its focus is on the design approval process, not payment processing.
Does Proveway support all shipping carriers?
The description says Proveway supports tracking from 900+ couriers, suggesting broad compatibility, but it's best to check if specific couriers used by the merchant are supported by Proveway.
Which app is better for beginners?
Proveway might be better for beginners because it's more plug-and-play, syncing data behind the scenes. ApprovePro's collaborative features require more conscious effort by the merchant to integrate it into their workflows.
