AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro vs Microsoft Shopping Feedfor Shopify (2026)
AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro positions itself as a comprehensive solution for merchants targeting a global audience on Google Shopping. Its key strength lies in its extensive support for multi-language, multi-currency, and regional inventory feeds, along with advanced mapping capabilities. It's explicitly designed for stores operating worldwide and needing granular control over their Google Shopping data. Microsoft Shopping Feed, on the other hand, is focused on providing a simple and scalable solution for merchants looking to leverage Microsoft Shopping Ads (formerly Bing Ads). Its strength is the ease of setup, unlimited catalog size, and direct support from Microsoft Ads experts. The primary difference lies in the supported platforms and the target audience. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro specializes in Google Shopping with sophisticated data manipulation capabilities. While it mentions using XML for Bing and other platforms, support is limited to Google. Microsoft Shopping Feed is dedicated to Microsoft Shopping Ads, providing a streamlined experience and robust support for that specific platform. The 'Pro' app is geared towards complex, international businesses needing advanced Google Shopping features, while the Microsoft app suits any size business wanting to quickly list their products on Microsoft Shopping Ads. A key differentiating factor is platform focus. AR is Google-centric with multi-platform support through feed exports, whereas Microsoft Feed is dedicated to the Microsoft ecosystem. Further, AR boasts superior review count and average rating, suggesting stronger customer satisfaction. However, the Microsoft app emphasizes direct expert support, which some merchants may find invaluable.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily invested in Google Shopping and requiring extensive multi-language, multi-currency, and data manipulation capabilities, AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro is the clear choice. Its higher rating and large number of reviews suggest strong customer satisfaction. However, the caveat is the lack of support for platforms beyond Google.
On the other hand, if a merchant is primarily focused on leveraging Microsoft Shopping Ads (formerly Bing Ads) and values ease of setup, unlimited catalog size, and direct support from Microsoft Ads experts, then Microsoft Shopping Feed is the better option. It's especially suitable for businesses of any size looking for a streamlined solution to reach new customers through Microsoft's advertising platform. The choice hinges on which platform is most strategically important to the merchant's growth strategy.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Microsoft Shopping Feed likely offers a simpler setup process due to its focus on a single platform (Microsoft Shopping Ads) and emphasis on ease of use. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro, with its advanced features, may require a steeper learning curve, especially for merchants new to feed management.
Which app is better for large product catalogs?
Microsoft Shopping Feed explicitly states it has no feed size limits, making it ideal for merchants with large or very large product catalogs. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro doesn't mention a feed size limit, so large catalogs might not be an issue, but Microsoft Feed is clearer on supporting them.
Which app provides better customer support?
While AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro has many positive reviews, Microsoft Shopping Feed highlights dedicated support from Microsoft Ads experts, potentially offering more specialized assistance for their platform. This will likely be more useful for MS Shopping specific questions.
If I want to advertise on multiple platforms, which app is better?
While AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro mentions XML feeds for Bing and other platforms, it only provides support for Google Shopping issues. So, while AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro might work for more platforms, you may need to work to get it working and they won't offer support beyond Google.
Which app is more suitable for a small business with a limited budget?
Without pricing information, it's difficult to say definitively. However, Microsoft Shopping Feed's emphasis on ease of use and dedicated support might be more appealing to a small business with limited technical expertise. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro may provide a better ROI, depending on if Google shopping ads are already part of the business strategy.
