Our Verdict
If you're a Shopify merchant aiming to improve your product visibility and sales via Google Shopping, AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro is the clear choice. Its focus on multi-language, multi-currency, and local inventory ads makes it particularly valuable for stores operating internationally. The high rating and numerous positive reviews further support its effectiveness.
Conversely, if you're a supplier looking to expand your reach and connect with a network of retailers, Modalyst for Suppliers is the more suitable option. It provides a dedicated platform for showcasing your products, managing inventory, and streamlining the order fulfillment process with retailers. While its rating and review count are lower, its unique value proposition is targeted at suppliers.
Common Questions
Can AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro help me sell on Facebook?
The app description explicitly states support for Google only, but mentions XML for Bing and Meta/Facebook + feeds for other platforms.
Does Modalyst for Suppliers help me create a Google Shopping feed?
No, Modalyst for Suppliers focuses on connecting suppliers with retailers and does not offer Google Shopping feed creation.
Which app is better for a dropshipping store?
Neither app is specifically designed for dropshipping. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro *could* be used if you are dropshipping and advertising through Google Shopping, but is not optimized for it. Modalyst for Suppliers aims to connect suppliers and retailers; it might indirectly benefit a dropshipper acting as a retailer.
Is it possible to use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, the apps are complementary. A supplier using Modalyst to connect with retailers could potentially also use AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro for their own direct-to-consumer Shopify store and Google Shopping campaigns.
Which app offers better customer support?
AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro mentions support only for Google issues, implying a limited scope. Modalyst for Suppliers doesn't explicitly detail support, making a direct comparison difficult. The higher rating and review count of AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro *may* suggest better overall support, but it's not definitive.
