AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro vs Optim Feed ‑ Facebook Catalogfor Shopify (2026)
AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro and Optim Feed ‑ Facebook Catalog both aim to help Shopify merchants generate product feeds, but they target vastly different advertising platforms and merchants. AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro is positioned as a comprehensive solution for merchants operating internationally, providing multi-language, multi-currency, and regional inventory feed support specifically for Google Shopping. Its focus on Google, coupled with features like metaobject mapping and advanced feed optimization, suggests it's aimed at larger, more sophisticated merchants needing granular control over their Google Shopping presence. Our Verdict
If your primary advertising platform is Google Shopping and you require multi-language, multi-currency support, and granular control over your feeds, AR: Google Shopping Feed Pro is the clear choice, assuming the merchant is willing to navigate a potentially more complex setup. However, if you are primarily focused on Facebook advertising and need a quick and easy solution to generate a product feed for your Facebook Catalog, Optim Feed ‑ Facebook Catalog is likely the better option, especially for stores with up to 100,000 variants. The fact that Optim Feed prevents automatic overwrites of existing Facebook feeds is also a significant advantage for merchants already advertising on Facebook.
