ARCS Support Ticketing System vs Kustomerfor Shopify (2026)
ARCS Support Ticketing System and Kustomer both aim to serve the 'Helpdesk' category on Shopify, but they target very different segments of merchants. ARCS, based on its extremely low rating and single review, seems to be either a very early-stage product or one with significant performance issues. Kustomer, on the other hand, positions itself as an AI-powered CRM designed to revolutionize customer support, particularly for eCommerce and retail businesses that prioritize a holistic view of customer data. Kustomer focuses on streamlining support across multiple channels and enabling personalized customer experiences through AI and order data integration. The key differentiator lies in the scale and sophistication of their offerings. Kustomer offers features like order refunds/cancellations directly from the Kustomer timeline, dynamic message customization, and automated updates via chatbot templates. This indicates a robust, feature-rich platform. ARCS, with its limited data, lacks the concrete feature set to compete directly with Kustomer's comprehensive CRM approach. Kustomer is clearly geared towards merchants investing in higher-tier customer service and operational efficiency through a unified CRM.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants in 2026, particularly those looking for a modern, AI-powered CRM to manage customer interactions and streamline order support, Kustomer is the clear choice. Its features, combined with a significantly higher rating and review count, indicate a more reliable and robust solution. ARCS Support Ticketing System, given its extremely low rating and lack of information, presents a high risk and is difficult to recommend. Unless a merchant has a very specific and unusual need, or is extremely cost-conscious and willing to gamble on an unproven product, Kustomer provides a far more compelling and less risky solution.
Merchants who want to elevate their customer service to the level of customer experience, especially those who have many recurring customers, would especially benefit from using Kustomer. A merchant with only a few customers and only a few support interactions a week, however, would likely be better off with no app at all.
Common Questions
What is the biggest difference between ARCS Support Ticketing System and Kustomer?
The primary difference is the depth of functionality and user satisfaction. Kustomer offers a full AI CRM solution for comprehensive customer management, boasting a high rating and positive reviews. ARCS has a very low rating and only one review, suggesting potential usability issues and limited feature set.
Is Kustomer more expensive than ARCS Support Ticketing System?
We cannot ascertain the cost of either app from the provided data. However, given Kustomer's feature set and market positioning as an AI CRM, it's likely to be priced higher than ARCS. Merchants should evaluate their budget and needs accordingly.
Can I manage order refunds directly within both apps?
The data specifies that Kustomer allows direct order refunds and cancellations from the Kustomer timeline. There's no information available about ARCS offering this functionality.
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
While ease of use isn't explicitly mentioned for either, Kustomer's extensive feature set and CRM capabilities might suggest a steeper learning curve compared to ARCS (if ARCS is indeed a simpler, though likely less functional, app). The best approach is to try out both and use the one that you feel is best.
What type of business is each app best suited for?
Kustomer is tailored for eCommerce and retail businesses focused on providing exceptional customer experiences through a unified CRM. The ideal business will already be using customer data to optimize their other operations. ARCS is difficult to assess without more data, but its rating suggests a much smaller target market, possibly consisting of very early-stage startups, or those who are extremely cost-conscious who will trade time troubleshooting for money.
