Aroshiya SMS Carrier vs Listrak: Email, SMS & Identityfor Shopify (2026)
Aroshiya SMS Carrier and Listrak: Email, SMS & Identity both offer SMS marketing capabilities for Shopify merchants, but cater to vastly different needs and levels of sophistication. Aroshiya SMS Carrier focuses on basic SMS notifications and alerts, allowing merchants to integrate with their own choice of SMS gateways via HTTP requests. This positions it as a simple solution for merchants who already have an SMS gateway provider and need a basic Shopify integration for sending transactional SMS messages. Listrak, on the other hand, is a comprehensive marketing platform that extends beyond SMS to include email, push notifications, and identity resolution. It boasts real-time tracking, direct API synchronization with Shopify, AI-powered segmentation, and automated features like coupon generation and product recommendations. This makes Listrak ideal for larger merchants seeking a robust, integrated marketing solution to personalize customer interactions across multiple channels. While both apps have a 5/5 rating, Listrak's considerably higher number of reviews (23 vs 1) indicates broader adoption and likely a longer track record within the Shopify ecosystem.

Our Verdict
For small merchants already using an SMS gateway and needing basic Shopify SMS functionality, Aroshiya SMS Carrier provides a cost-effective and straightforward solution. Its main advantage is the flexibility to integrate with existing infrastructure, reducing the need to migrate to a new SMS provider. However, the lack of reviews suggests it might be a newer app with less established support.
Listrak is a better fit for larger businesses seeking a complete marketing platform to optimize customer engagement across various channels. Its advanced features like AI-powered segmentation and real-time data tracking provide powerful tools for personalized marketing. While the initial investment might be higher, the potential for increased revenue and customer loyalty makes it a compelling choice for businesses ready to scale their marketing efforts.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Aroshiya SMS Carrier is likely easier to set up for merchants already using a specific SMS gateway, as it provides a framework to integrate it. Listrak's setup might involve more steps, especially configuring data synchronization and multi-channel settings, but it is more user-friendly for users who don't want to set up their own integration with an SMS gateway.
Which app is more cost-effective?
Aroshiya SMS Carrier is potentially more cost-effective in the short term if you already have an SMS gateway subscription, focusing only on the integration cost. Listrak likely comes with a higher subscription fee, but its comprehensive features might justify the investment if you need email marketing, push notifications, and AI-powered segmentation.
Which app offers better customer support?
Based on the review counts, Listrak likely has a more established customer support system due to its larger user base. While Aroshiya SMS Carrier might offer adequate support, the lack of reviews makes it difficult to assess the quality and responsiveness of their support team.
Which app is better for personalized marketing?
Listrak is significantly better for personalized marketing. Its AI-powered segmentation, product recommendations, and real-time data tracking allow for highly targeted and relevant messaging across multiple channels. Aroshiya SMS Carrier primarily focuses on sending basic notifications and lacks advanced personalization capabilities.
Which app is better if I want to use my preferred SMS gateway provider?
Aroshiya SMS Carrier is explicitly designed for using your preferred SMS gateway provider through HTTP requests. Listrak offers an integrated SMS solution, but you might not have the flexibility to use a specific provider if it's not supported.
