AskEase vs Helpify24for Shopify (2026)
AskEase and Helpify24 both aim to improve customer support within a Shopify store, but they do so through fundamentally different approaches. AskEase focuses on enabling direct, asynchronous communication via product page question forms. This is designed to address specific product-related concerns pre-purchase, potentially boosting conversion rates and reducing returns. Helpify24, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive support solution, offering assistance with a broader range of ecommerce management tasks through live chat and ticketing systems manned by experts. The description and features are currently in Italian, indicating a primary focus on the Italian market. The key difference lies in their service model. AskEase automates initial query capture and allows asynchronous merchant response via email. Helpify24 provides direct access to human experts for real-time problem-solving and broader support related to tasks like app installations and social media management. Therefore, AskEase is more product-focused, while Helpify24 provides a broader range of support services, essentially functioning as a managed support service.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing to directly address product-related questions on product pages to boost sales and reduce returns, AskEase represents a potentially cost-effective solution. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating present a significant risk. Helpify24, while having a limited number of reviews, boasts a perfect 5/5. It provides a broader range of support services, especially helpful for merchants new to Shopify or lacking in-house expertise.
Given the limited data, it is difficult to recommend one over the other definitively. The lack of reviews for AskEase is a considerable drawback. Helpify24 appears to be the safer option for merchants needing comprehensive support, *especially* if they are comfortable receiving this support primarily in Italian. Merchants should prioritize carefully considering the language and types of support offered relative to the support they need for their business.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Without user reviews or direct experience, it is challenging to determine ease of use. AskEase's description suggests a straightforward setup with customizable forms, while Helpify24 implies interacting with live agents, potentially simplifying complex tasks. However, setup and understanding of their system might require more effort initially.
Which app is more affordable?
The provided data doesn't include pricing information, making it impossible to compare affordability. Merchants should investigate pricing plans for both apps before making a decision.
Does AskEase offer live chat support?
No, AskEase focuses on question forms and email replies. It is primarily asynchronous communication.
Can Helpify24 help with social media marketing?
Yes, Helpify24's key features explicitly mention providing advice on managing Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Which app is better for a merchant selling internationally?
The ideal app depends on the support needs. AskEase can be used to manage queries in any language if the form and emails are translated. Helpify24's primary language seems to be Italian, which might limit its usefulness for merchants needing support in other languages. If you need broad support in Italian, Helpify24 is better. If not, AskEase may be better.
