Our Verdict
The best choice depends heavily on the merchant's specific goals and existing customer communication strategy. If the primary objective is to reduce customer support costs, provide 24/7 assistance, and proactively guide customers through the buying process with an AI-powered chatbot, AskTimmy AI Chat Bot + ChatGPT is the stronger option. It also suits merchants who have a very large store with numerous FAQs.
However, if the merchant already leverages WhatsApp for customer communication or wants to build a stronger presence on WhatsApp for marketing and customer engagement, RQ ‑ WhatsApp Chat Button is the better choice. This app focuses on leveraging an established communication channel to recover abandoned carts, provide timely updates, and solicit reviews, ultimately improving customer satisfaction and driving sales through a familiar and direct medium. Furthermore, the app is better if the merchant wants to engage in active customer service interactions using the whatsapp platform.
