Atlas Pickup Points vs Estimated Delivery Date: EODfor Shopify (2026)
Atlas Pickup Points and Estimated Delivery Date: EOD both address crucial aspects of the post-purchase customer experience, but cater to very different needs. Atlas Pickup Points focuses on alternative delivery options, specifically enabling customers to select pickup points like parcel lockers and PUDOs. It boasts wide carrier support (50+ in 35 countries) and integrates with WMS/OMS systems, suggesting a target audience of larger merchants already employing these systems. Its strength lies in providing location-based delivery flexibility and streamlining backend processes for handling diverse carrier networks. The app's Shopify Build Award highlights its user-friendliness, though key features are limited to Plus plans. Estimated Delivery Date: EOD, in contrast, aims to manage customer expectations by providing clear and accurate delivery timelines across various touchpoints in the shopping journey. Estimated Delivery Date: EOD prioritizes communication and transparency regarding when customers can expect their orders to arrive. Its features center on calculating and displaying estimated delivery dates based on factors like shipping method, location, and product attributes. The app offers extensive customization options for design and rules, appealing to merchants looking to improve conversion rates and reduce shipping-related inquiries. While Atlas Pickup Points solves the logistics of alternative deliveries, Estimated Delivery Date: EOD solves the problem of uncertainty and anxiety surrounding delivery times. Both apps share the "Delivery and pickup" and "Shipping rates" Shopify categories, yet they address different segments of the same problem.

Our Verdict
If you are a Shopify Plus merchant looking to offer diverse delivery options via parcel lockers and PUDOs across multiple countries and carriers, and require seamless integration with your existing WMS and OMS, then Atlas Pickup Points is the clear choice. Its award-winning user experience and focus on backend integration make it a powerful solution for managing complex logistics. However, important checkout functionalities are only accessible on Plus.
For merchants of all sizes who want to manage customer expectations by displaying accurate estimated delivery dates, and reduce shipping-related questions, Estimated Delivery Date: EOD is the better option. Its ease of use, customizable design, and wide range of rule-based delivery calculations make it a valuable tool for improving customer satisfaction and potentially increasing conversion rates. EOD offers wider appeal across different Shopify store sizes. The smaller number of reviews on Atlas, relative to EOD, also suggests potential areas for additional review verification.
