AutoPost: AI Social Media Post vs LC | Easy Account Creationfor Shopify (2026)
AutoPost: AI Social Media Post and LC | Easy Account Creation are both Shopify apps aiming to enhance different aspects of a merchant's business in 2026. AutoPost focuses on automating and optimizing social media marketing efforts, leveraging AI to generate engaging content and schedule posts across various platforms. It aims to streamline social media management and improve brand visibility. In contrast, LC | Easy Account Creation addresses the challenge of customer account creation by providing a frictionless signup process either on the Thank You page or, for Shopify Plus merchants, at the checkout. The goal is to reduce cart abandonment and increase customer registration rates by eliminating redirection during signup. The fundamental difference lies in their target areas: AutoPost targets marketing and brand building, appealing to merchants seeking to automate and improve their social media presence. LC | Easy Account Creation focuses on improving the post-purchase or checkout experience, aiming to increase customer retention and gather valuable customer data through simplified account creation. While both aim to increase sales and ROI, they do so through different mechanisms and target distinct pain points in the customer journey. The limited review count of both apps should also be considered.
