Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys vs FormCRM AI Custom Form Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys and FormCRM AI Custom Form Builder both offer survey functionality for Shopify stores but target different merchant needs. Bazar focuses on pre-purchase engagement, aiming to capture emails and provide discounts in exchange for customer insights. It also strangely claims to promote merchants to their own email list. FormCRM, on the other hand, is a more comprehensive form builder solution that extends beyond pre-purchase surveys to encompass various form types, from contact forms to wholesale applications, and integrates with numerous third-party services. Bazar's strength lies in its simplicity and potential for quick email acquisition and affiliate marketing, though the lack of reviews raises concern. It sacrifices broader form functionality for a streamlined discount-for-survey approach. FormCRM excels in its AI-powered form creation, customization options, and integrations, making it suitable for merchants needing a robust form-building platform for diverse purposes. The 5-star rating, albeit based on only 7 reviews, suggests a higher level of user satisfaction and reliability compared to Bazar. Bazar's claim of affiliate marketing through their own email channel is also an eyebrow-raising claim.

Our Verdict
FormCRM AI Custom Form Builder is the better choice for merchants requiring a comprehensive form solution capable of handling various form types and integrating with existing marketing and CRM tools. Its AI-powered builder, positive user reviews (although few), and extensive features make it a more robust and reliable option. Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys *might* be suitable for merchants primarily focused on simple email capture through discounts, but the lack of reviews and unusual claim of affiliate marketing via their own email channel warrants extreme caution.
In general, unless Bazar establishes a credible reputation with positive reviews, FormCRM offers superior functionality and integration capabilities, catering to a wider range of business needs. For those truly needing pre-purchase surveys and email capture *specifically*, and willing to take a risk on an unproven app, Bazar *might* be considered, but should be rigorously tested.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim to be easy to set up, with Bazar stating 'set up in minutes, no coding required' and FormCRM offering a drag-and-drop interface. Without user reviews, it's difficult to determine which is actually easier, but both suggest accessibility for non-technical users.
Which app is better for collecting customer data?
FormCRM is better for collecting diverse customer data. It allows for more complex forms with multiple steps, file uploads, and conditional logic, facilitating more in-depth data collection. Bazar is limited to pre-purchase survey responses and email addresses.
Which app integrates with more third-party tools?
FormCRM integrates with significantly more third-party tools, including Shopify Customers, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Slack, and Zoho. Bazar's integration capabilities are unclear, with only a claim of promoting the merchant via their own internal email channel.
Is Bazar offering legitimate affiliate marketing?
The claim of affiliate marketing from Bazar is unusual and potentially misleading. The statement that Bazar promotes merchants 'to our ever growing network of users via our own email channel' raises serious concerns. It is not common practice for an app to promote a user's products or store within their own email blasts, and without further details, it's best to regard this claim with skepticism.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information for either app, it's difficult to determine which offers better value. However, considering the features and integrations offered by FormCRM, it is likely to provide more value, especially for merchants needing a versatile form-building solution. The risk associated with Bazar, due to lack of reviews, reduces its perceived value proposition.
