Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys vs Grapevine Post Purchase Surveyfor Shopify (2026)
Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys and Grapevine Post Purchase Survey offer distinct approaches to gathering customer feedback on Shopify. Bazar focuses on pre-purchase engagement, utilizing a discount pop-up to incentivize survey participation and capture email addresses. Its unique value proposition includes promoting the merchant's discount through Bazar's own email channels, aiming to attract new customers. The simplicity of setup and pre-built survey templates target merchants prioritizing ease of use and initial customer acquisition. In contrast, Grapevine specializes in post-purchase surveys, NPS, and CSAT, emphasizing in-depth customer insights and long-term customer relationship management. It offers unlimited survey responses and advanced reporting features designed for merchants focused on data-driven decision-making and scaling their feedback collection processes. Grapevine provides a more comprehensive survey solution with advanced integrations with platforms like Klaviyo and Google Analytics, allowing for deeper analysis of customer behavior and marketing attribution. Bazar, on the other hand, is lightweight and emphasizes a lower barrier to entry, allowing merchants to quickly deploy pre-purchase surveys and gather initial customer insights. The choice between the two depends on the merchant's current needs and priorities. Are they focused on acquiring new customers through discounts and email capture (Bazar), or are they interested in gathering detailed feedback from existing customers to improve CX and drive marketing decisions (Grapevine)?

Our Verdict
Grapevine Post Purchase Survey is the clear winner for most Shopify merchants in 2026, especially those serious about leveraging customer feedback for data-driven decisions. Its perfect rating, substantial review count, and focus on unlimited responses and deep integrations make it a robust and scalable solution. Merchants who need comprehensive customer insights, advanced segmentation, and seamless integration with their marketing and analytics stack will benefit significantly from Grapevine.
Bazar Pre Purchase Surveys might be a viable option for brand-new stores with very limited budgets and a primary focus on immediate lead generation through discount incentives. However, the lack of reviews, unclear pricing, and limited feature set make it a risky choice compared to Grapevine. A newer store may consider Bazar as a temporary stop-gap but should upgrade to a more mature solution like Grapevine as their business grows and their need for sophisticated customer feedback analysis increases.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Bazar likely offers a simpler initial setup due to its pre-built templates and focus on a single discount pop-up. However, Grapevine's well-documented integrations and support resources should still enable relatively easy setup.
Which app is better for collecting email addresses?
Bazar is specifically designed for email capture through its discount pop-up. Grapevine focuses on post-purchase feedback, so email collection is a secondary function.
Which app offers better value for money?
Grapevine likely offers better value for money with its unlimited responses and fixed pricing model, particularly for businesses with a growing customer base. The lack of pricing information for Bazar makes it difficult to directly compare.
Which app integrates better with my existing marketing tools?
Grapevine provides explicit integrations with Shopify Flow, Klaviyo, GA4, and Google Sheets, allowing for seamless data transfer and analysis. Bazar does not specify any integrations.
Which app is better for understanding customer satisfaction?
Grapevine explicitly supports NPS (Net Promoter Score) and CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) surveys, making it the better choice for measuring and improving customer satisfaction.
