Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with reducing cart abandonment by displaying prices in local currencies and offering a seamless currency conversion experience, BEAST Currency Converter is the better choice, despite the limitations around Shopify's checkout. Its focus is solely on currency and providing options such as messages regarding currency conversions on checkout.
However, if the primary goal is to make the store accessible to a global audience speaking a variety of languages and prioritize ease of setup, Translate Language Auto • EA is a more suitable option. While it does not directly address currency conversion, its comprehensive translation of all store content, including other apps, broadens the customer base effectively. It's important to acknowledge the limited number of reviews compared to BEAST Currency Converter, which might mean the former is newer and more experimental.
