BelgePro: Contract Manager vs DRINKS ASSUREfor Shopify (2026)
BelgePro: Contract Manager and DRINKS ASSURE, while both in the 'Legal' category on the Shopify App Store, cater to drastically different needs and target audiences. BelgePro focuses on automating the creation and sending of legally binding contracts, primarily distance sales contracts and preliminary information forms, directly to customers as PDF attachments via email. Its strength lies in customisation and ease of integration for merchants needing automated contract generation. DRINKS ASSURE, on the other hand, is a specialised solution designed exclusively for alcohol producers and retailers. Its primary focus is on ensuring real-time tax and compliance for online alcohol sales within the Shopify checkout, automatically handling complex tax regulations and providing detailed reports for state filings. The major difference stems from the specific legal areas they address. BelgePro is general, concerning contract law for distance selling and preliminary information requirements. DRINKS ASSURE is highly niche, tackling alcohol-specific excise taxes, CRV, and other regulatory fees. Despite both apps receiving 5-star ratings, DRINKS ASSURE boasts significantly more user reviews, suggesting a higher level of adoption and potentially greater confidence from merchants within its targeted alcohol industry. DRINKS ASSURE emphasizes seamless integration with the Shopify checkout and set-it-and-forget automation, whereas BelgePro highlights customizability and control over document creation and email content.
