BetterPrice: Beat Any Price vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
BetterPrice: Beat Any Price and Quick Quote both aim to improve pricing flexibility on a Shopify store, but they approach it in fundamentally different ways. BetterPrice focuses on allowing customers to proactively offer a lower price than the listed price, primarily driven by competitor prices. It relies on a customizable popup and discount code generation. Quick Quote, conversely, facilitates formal quote requests initiated by the customer through their cart. It emphasizes creating a formal, editable quote within the app, complete with email notifications and status tracking. Therefore, BetterPrice is for merchants who want to capture sales from customers who find lower prices elsewhere. Quick Quote suits merchants who regularly deal with custom orders, wholesale, or negotiated pricing. The ease of use is a determining factor, given the customer feedback disparity between the two apps.

Our Verdict
Quick Quote appears to be the stronger choice for most merchants in 2026, given its significantly higher rating and volume of reviews, suggesting greater user satisfaction and reliability. If your business model involves complex, custom orders or significant price negotiation, Quick Quote's formal quoting system is the better fit. BetterPrice is potentially useful if you want to be very responsive to competitor pricing but the low review count and rating is a cause for concern. If you are a merchant who frequently finds customers finding lower prices and you're comfortable with manual discount code generation, BetterPrice may be an option, but due diligence is needed before investing the time and money.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
Based on the higher review count and rating, Quick Quote is likely easier to use. BetterPrice's customization options could add complexity.
Which app is better for wholesale businesses?
Quick Quote is a better fit for wholesale businesses because it allows merchants to create custom quotes for large orders and negotiate pricing.
Which app is better if customers are constantly finding lower prices elsewhere?
BetterPrice directly addresses this by allowing customers to offer those lower prices, but the low rating indicates potential usability or support issues.
Does either app automate price matching with competitors?
Neither app automatically matches prices. Both require manual input from the merchant. BetterPrice receives the offer and the merchant decides if the price should be matched via discount code. Quick Quote receives a quote request and manually creates the quote to respond.
Which app offers better communication tools?
Quick Quote supports commenting on quotes which can send emails back and forth to allow for better communication than BetterPrice, which only mentions Customizable email template & content initially.
