Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving product discovery and cross-selling through advanced search capabilities, BIRSE: Visual Search is the clear choice. Its AI-powered visual search and recommendation engine offer a more sophisticated approach to connecting customers with the products they're looking for. However, with only 8 reviews, merchants might want to carefully consider the risk and potential for bugs and limitations.
If the primary goal is to enhance website navigation and provide a visually appealing, user-friendly experience, KOBU ‑ Menu Highlight is the superior option. Its focus on intuitive navigation and social media-inspired menu design makes it ideal for merchants who want to highlight specific products and collections in a visually engaging manner. The higher review count (23) suggests a more established user base and potentially greater reliability, but it doesn't offer a free trial.
