Booster Page Speed Optimizer vs Smile: Loyalty Rewards Programfor Shopify (2026)
Booster Page Speed Optimizer and Smile: Loyalty Rewards Program, while both categorized under "Store design" on Shopify, address vastly different aspects of improving a merchant's online store. Booster Page Speed Optimizer focuses on enhancing the technical performance of the store by optimizing page load speeds. It emphasizes customization, integration with other marketing tools like Klaviyo and Judge.me, and provides powerful analytics to track the program's performance. Our Verdict
The choice between Booster Page Speed Optimizer and Smile: Loyalty Rewards Program depends heavily on the merchant's priorities. If a store is experiencing high bounce rates and abandoned carts due to slow loading times, Booster Page Speed Optimizer is the more crucial investment. Its focus on technical performance can directly impact sales. On the other hand, if a store already has decent loading speeds but wants to cultivate a loyal customer base and incentivize repeat purchases, Smile: Loyalty Rewards Program is the better option. It offers a comprehensive suite of features for building and managing a successful loyalty program. For a store with both issues, addressing page speed with Booster first might be the better strategy, as a fast website is a prerequisite for a positive loyalty program experience.
