BR Sales Terminal POS vs ReturnZap Returns & Exchangesfor Shopify (2026)
BR Sales Terminal POS and ReturnZap Returns & Exchanges, while both falling under the 'Returns and Exchanges' category on Shopify, serve very different functions for merchants. BR Sales Terminal POS focuses on enabling in-store point-of-sale functionality and managing in-store returns and exchanges as part of the POS workflow. It offers a branded self-serve returns portal, automated return label generation, advanced returns policy enforcement, and store credit issuance. Its core strength lies in reducing refunds and improving the customer experience related to returns, particularly for merchants who handle a high volume of online returns and exchanges. Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on in-person sales and needing a POS system, BR Sales Terminal POS is the more relevant choice. Its ability to process payments via various terminals, scan barcodes, and print receipts makes it a suitable option for brick-and-mortar stores. However, the lower rating and fewer reviews compared to ReturnZap should prompt caution and potentially further investigation.
If a merchant's primary concern is managing online returns and exchanges efficiently, reducing refunds, and automating the return process, ReturnZap is the clear winner. Its higher rating, numerous positive reviews, and focus on return label automation, advanced return policies, and store credit features make it a compelling solution for e-commerce businesses. It's specifically designed to handle the complexities of online returns, a feature BR Sales Terminal POS doesn't prioritize.
