BS | Social Media Auto Post vs Wixpa Google Ads Remarketingfor Shopify (2026)
BS | Social Media Auto Post (BeeShare) and Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing are both Shopify apps in the Advertising - Other category, but they cater to vastly different needs. BeeShare aims to simplify social media management by using AI to generate, schedule, and auto-post content to Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Its primary strength lies in its promise of effortless social media presence with minimal time investment. However, it has zero reviews, which raises concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing, on the other hand, focuses on streamlining Google Ads retargeting. It simplifies the often-complex process of installing and maintaining Google Ads dynamic retargeting tags. Its strength is in its ease of use, eliminating the need for technical expertise or code editing. It has a perfect rating with a small number of reviews, indicating early user satisfaction. This suggests it is fulfilling its promise of simplifying the Google Ads retargeting setup. While both apps fall under 'Advertising - Other', their target users and functionality are distinct: BeeShare is for social media marketers seeking automation, while Wixpa is for e-commerce merchants wanting simplified Google Ads retargeting.

Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with consistent social media posting and looking for an AI-powered solution to handle content creation and scheduling, BeeShare *could* be an option, *but with extreme caution*. The lack of reviews makes it a risky choice. Given the available data, Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing is a much safer bet for merchants specifically seeking to simplify Google Ads retargeting implementation. Its positive reviews suggest it delivers on its promise of easy setup and maintenance.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's specific needs. If social media automation is a priority despite the risk, explore BeeShare cautiously (with a trial period, if available). If Google Ads retargeting is the immediate goal, Wixpa is the clearly preferable option. However, in 2026, both app descriptions will be reviewed for continued accuracy and validity and the number and recency of reviews will be considered to make a better decision.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use for a non-technical user?
Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing appears easier for non-technical users, as it offers one-click installation and eliminates the need for code editing. BeeShare, while automated, still requires the merchant to approve the content plan.
Which app is better for increasing website traffic?
While both apps indirectly aim to increase website traffic, Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing directly targets website visitors through retargeting ads on Google. BeeShare aims to increase traffic through social media engagement, which is a less direct route.
Is one app more suitable for smaller businesses than the other?
Both apps can be suitable for smaller businesses. Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing might be particularly appealing to small businesses without dedicated marketing teams who need an easy way to implement Google Ads retargeting. BeeShare could be beneficial for small businesses that lack time for social media management, however the risk is higher given the lack of reviews.
Which app offers a free trial?
The provided information does not indicate whether either app offers a free trial.
Which app is better for long-term marketing strategy?
Both apps address different aspects of a long-term marketing strategy. BeeShare, if effective, could contribute to long-term brand building and social media presence. Wixpa Google Ads Remarketing focuses on retargeting, which is a more immediate and targeted approach. The choice depends on the overall marketing goals.
