Buddha Mega Menu & Navigation vs Scrolly: Scroll To Top Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
Buddha Mega Menu & Navigation and Scrolly: Scroll To Top Button both aim to improve store navigation, but cater to drastically different needs. Buddha Mega Menu focuses on comprehensive top-level menu customization, allowing merchants to create visually appealing and feature-rich navigation structures with options for various layouts, media, and promotional elements. It positions itself as a complete menu solution, improving the aesthetic and functionality of the top navigation bar. Scrolly, on the other hand, addresses a much simpler need: providing a convenient "scroll to top" button to improve the user experience on long pages. Buddha Mega Menu is designed for merchants who want to revamp their store's navigation, adding a sophisticated and feature-rich menu. It offers advanced customization and promotional opportunities within the menu itself. Scrolly is suitable for stores, particularly those with extensive product catalogs or lengthy content pages, where a quick return to the top is beneficial. Scrolly focuses on a single, but potentially conversion-boosting, UI element, emphasizing ease of use and stylistic customization of that element.

Our Verdict
If a merchant needs a significant upgrade to their store's main navigation, allowing for complex layouts, promotional banners, and a visually appealing menu structure, Buddha Mega Menu & Navigation is the clear choice. The higher number of reviews suggests a wider adoption and potentially more extensive community support, despite the slightly lower rating.
However, if the primary concern is simply providing a quick and easy way for customers to return to the top of long pages, Scrolly: Scroll To Top Button is a simpler and more focused solution. Its high rating and easy installation make it a low-risk, high-reward option for improving user experience in specific scenarios.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Scrolly is advertised as having a one-click installation, making it significantly easier to set up than Buddha Mega Menu, which requires designing and configuring the menu structure.
Which app is better for stores with large product catalogs?
Both can be beneficial. Buddha Mega Menu allows for structured navigation of categories and products, while Scrolly helps customers navigate long product listing pages.
Which app is more visually customizable?
Buddha Mega Menu offers more comprehensive visual customization in terms of overall menu design and layout. Scrolly, while customizable in appearance, only applies to a single button.
Will either app directly improve my store's SEO?
Indirectly, both could help. Better navigation (Buddha Mega Menu) can improve site crawlability and user engagement, and easier user experience (Scrolly) could reduce bounce rates. However, neither app directly implements SEO-specific features.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, the apps address different areas of navigation and can be used independently. A store could have a complex mega menu (Buddha) and still benefit from a scroll-to-top button (Scrolly).
