Our Verdict
Buunto – Date & Time Slot is the clear choice for merchants prioritizing customer experience and control over local delivery or pickup scheduling. Its features are designed to provide flexibility and personalization for both merchants and customers. Official TCS Courier App, while aiming to improve shipment processing efficiency, suffers from extremely low ratings and few reviews, indicating potential issues with usability or effectiveness. Therefore, only merchants heavily reliant on TCS Courier and facing significant order processing bottlenecks might consider it, but with extreme caution and thorough testing.
Common Questions
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Potentially, but it depends on your workflow. Buunto manages the scheduling aspect, while Official TCS Courier App is meant to facilitate shipment processing with TCS Courier. If you use TCS Courier for delivery, integrating their shipment processing *after* a customer has selected a delivery time slot using Buunto might be possible, but requires careful coordination.
Which app is easier to use?
Given Buunto's high rating and focus on an 'intuitive date picker', it's likely more user-friendly than Official TCS Courier App, which has a significantly lower rating suggesting potential usability issues.
Which app offers more customization options?
Buunto explicitly states that it is 'highly customizable,' allowing for specific date/time slots, fees, and schedules. Official TCS Courier App does not detail any customisation features.
What if I don't use TCS Courier?
If you don't use TCS Courier, the Official TCS Courier App offers no value. Buunto can be used regardless of which delivery provider you use because it sets up the time and date options for customer selection.
Is there a free trial?
The information provided does not indicate whether either app offers a free trial. It is recommended to check each app's listing on the Shopify App Store for trial information.
