Buy Box: Product Page Blocks vs LoTS: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
Both Buy Box: Product Page Blocks and LoTS: Theme Sections aim to enhance Shopify stores by providing additional page elements. However, they differ significantly in their focus and target audience. Buy Box specializes in conversion-focused product page elements, providing pre-built blocks like trust badges, low stock counters, and social proof. Its description highlights ease of integration and performance optimization, targeting merchants who want to quickly improve product page conversions with ready-made, trusted layouts. LoTS, on the other hand, offers a broader suite of customizable theme sections for various page types, not just product pages, including modals and tabbed content. Its emphasis is on no-code drag-and-drop functionality, providing more creative control to the user. It suits merchants who want flexible, fully-customizable sections across their store, not just product pages. The apps also vary in user validation with Buy Box having 55 reviews compared to LoTS's 1 review. While both hold a perfect 5-star rating, the larger sample size for Buy Box provides more confidence in its stated performance. Buy Box focuses solely on pre-built conversion-boosting product page elements that are easily added to the theme editor. LoTS prioritizes flexibility with drag and drop sections for all your pages on your store. The decision hinges on if you need a one-off, plug and play product page boost or a flexible and robust building environment across your entire store. The review count difference should also be weighed in heavily.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting product page conversions through proven elements and a simple setup process, Buy Box: Product Page Blocks is the better choice. It offers a quick and effective way to implement trust badges, low stock counters, and other conversion-focused elements without extensive customization. However, merchants who need versatile page building capabilities across their entire store, including landing pages and other custom layouts, and who prioritize drag-and-drop functionality and extensive customization options, LoTS: Theme Sections will be a more suitable solution. The limited number of reviews may require caution, but it can be an excellent tool for merchants confident in their design skills.
