Callsy AI Abandoned Cart Calls vs Carts Gurufor Shopify (2026)
Callsy AI Abandoned Cart Calls positions itself as a highly automated, AI-driven solution focused exclusively on recovering abandoned carts through direct AI-powered phone calls and subsequent SMS follow-ups. Its strength lies in its unique ability to directly engage customers via voice, offering personalized discounts and gathering real-time feedback. Its target audience appears to be merchants seeking a hands-off approach to abandoned cart recovery, willing to entrust the process to AI, and potentially targeting international customers given its multi-language and accent support. Carts Guru, though listed in the SMS marketing category, suggests a broader suite of tools, likely encompassing more general SMS marketing functionality, though less information is known from the provided data. While both apps aim to recover abandoned carts, Callsy AI's defining feature is its AI voice call capability, differentiating it from potentially more conventional SMS-based approaches typically associated with apps like Carts Guru. Carts Guru, based on its higher review count, might cater to a wider range of merchants already comfortable with existing SMS marketing strategies but its specific abandoned cart recovery features aren't highlighted here.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing fully automated, direct voice engagement with potential customers, particularly those with international reach and a need for nuanced language support, Callsy AI Abandoned Cart Calls appears to be the stronger choice. Its AI-powered voice calls offer a unique and potentially highly effective approach to recovering abandoned carts. It suits stores willing to trust the power of AI.
However, merchants seeking a broader SMS marketing solution, with a less AI-focused approach to abandoned cart recovery, or those who prefer more control over the communication process, might find Carts Guru to be a more suitable fit. Carts Guru also has more reviews, which may point to greater market penetration and potentially, a longer track record. But without more specifics regarding Cart Guru's features beyond simply being in the SMS marketing category, comparing is difficult.
