Callsy AI Abandoned Cart Calls vs Heymarket SMSfor Shopify (2026)
Callsy AI Abandoned Cart Calls and Heymarket SMS both operate within the SMS marketing category on Shopify, but they take drastically different approaches. Callsy focuses on automating abandoned cart recovery using AI-powered voice calls, offering personalized discounts and checkout links via SMS follow-up. Their core value proposition centers around automating customer interaction with an AI agent, supporting multiple languages and voice options. Heymarket, on the other hand, aims to streamline overall customer communication by integrating SMS, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Messaging into a centralized platform, offering features like automated order updates and personalized SMS marketing. The key difference lies in their primary functionality. Callsy is specifically tailored for abandoned cart recovery through AI-driven phone calls and SMS, while Heymarket offers a broader SMS marketing solution focused on general customer support, personalized marketing campaigns, and multi-channel communication. Callsy's use of AI for voice calls sets it apart, while Heymarket emphasizes integration and centralized communication across multiple platforms. A merchant's choice between the two will depend largely on their specific needs and priorities - whether they need specialized AI-powered abandoned cart recovery or a more general SMS communication platform.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants struggling with a significant number of abandoned carts and seeking an automated solution, Callsy AI Abandoned Cart Calls is likely the better choice. Its AI agent can proactively engage potential customers and offer personalized discounts, potentially converting hesitant shoppers into paying customers. The multiple language and voice options further enhance the personalization aspect.
However, for merchants looking for a broader SMS marketing solution with integration across multiple platforms, Heymarket SMS may be more suitable. Its ability to centralize customer communication across SMS, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Messenger, along with automated order updates, can streamline customer service and improve the overall shopping experience. While the rating is low, it might be due to lack of reviews or a specific issue; further investigation is needed. Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific needs and priorities.
